Forest Park residents Matt and Dora Hoffman have
been together since 1999. They had their first child,
Mason Reed, in 2004; Kalissa Renee followed in 2006
and Shayla Rose was born in 2009. Shayla was born
with a port wine stain on her face where a tumor grew.
Shayla had the tumor removed at Children’s Hospital
when she was four months old and had additional
surgery January 19th 2010. Matt has had various health

(pituitary problems). Matt had brain surgery January 5th 2010 at University
Hospital and the tumor could not be removed without him losing his sight. He is
currently preparing for radiation, new medications and appointments with an
Endocrinologist. Matt has lost his job, medical bills are mounting, and the Hoffman
family needs your help.
