Denny Buehler Memorial Tournament
Why did the Tournament Start?
To help raise money for hospital bills, the Buehler family and the Greenhills
community organized the 1st co-ed softball tournament. Denny passed away soon
after, but the tournament lived on in his memory, aiding other families within the
local community. See the Past Recipients page for a list of people and
organizations the tournament has benefited.
The Denny Buehler Memorial Tournament is a co-ed softball tournament designed
to raise money for people in need within the Winton Woods community. Proceeds
from tournament entry fees and concessions, along with individual donations, are
used to support people and families within the Winton Woods community,
including the Cincinnati suburbs of Forest Park, Green Hills, and Springfield
Township. Sometimes funding is also given to worthy organizations that support
research for cancer and other diseases.
